Venn Lockdown Radio: Programme Five

Welcome to the latest programme on Venn Lockdown Radio. Today marks the change in frequency for the show – this is the last time you’ll be receiving Lockdown Radio on a Thursday. As we move in to Alert Level 3, Lockdown Radio and Common Ground will be coming to you on alternate Saturday mornings.

On this week’s programme, you’ll hear from alumnus Annette McHugh (née Pereira) about her work for a Federal MP in Australia and the similarities and differences between the COVID-19 responses across the Tasman. Sam and Julia also chat to three friends from the last Fellowship cohort: Lucy Collingwood, Natalie Duchesne, and Luke Edwards. These three compare their flatting situations under lockdown and chat about some of the challenges, fun, and opportunities that have emerged over these past four weeks. And finally, you’ll be able to (audibly) meet the newest member of the Venn team–Jude Fenwick–and hear from the delighted new parents, Luke and Olivia Fenwick.

Our hope is that Lockdown Radio continues to be a source of connection, information, and encouragement for you in this new phase of COVID-19 response. We’ll be in touch again Saturday week with the next programme on Lockdown Radio. But for now, grab your cuppa and enjoy this week’s show!

Arohanui,

The Venn team
